My name is Ann M Barrieau and I am 47 years old. I have always belonged to a gym and always considered myself a healthy person.
It was not until I joined the “The Gym” in September of 2008 that I knew I needed to make changes. I had two young children, was not eating right and was gaining weight. Losing 20 lbs was a goal but that seemed too far off.
I knew working combined with better eating habits was the best route to good health. So I began working out 4-5 days a weeks doing 20 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of light weights.
In April of 2009 I decided to see a Natural Path physician. I thought they could help me evaluate my eating habits and to guide me with proper vitamins and nutrients.
I immediately felt results from the visit to the Nautural Path. By changing my diet, I had more energy because I was finally eating the foods which agreed with me. And my work outs became more productive.
A very important part of these positive results was from a decision I made. I decided to work with Deborah for six sessions to help me with a more effective work out plan. She did that and a lot more. She developed a more effective work out plan and within a week, I was feeling stronger and more committed.
After six weeks of eating better plus an improved work out plan I was on my way to great results. Deborah's coaching and positive input made me not only work harder but feel good about what was happening to me. I was pleased with the initial results of the first six week program that Deborah created for me. I could feel changes in my body and more importantly I could see them.
Because of that initial success, I renewed my commitment to Deborah. I then worked with both Deborah and Dave for another six weeks.
They changed my workout routine and after 6 weeks, I was amazed. I did not lose the 20 lbs I wanted however the change in my body was significant. The last time I checked the scales I had lost 15+ pounds and dropped down an entire size. I had to buy new clothes because my old clothes falling off me.
My husband thinks I look like I did when we first met 20 years ago. My family and friends have complimented me on how I great I look, too.
I feel great and would recommend a commitment to a good training program and an evaluation on eating habits. Together they can make a huge difference on how you feel and look.
I look better, feel better and I am a lot healthier than I was just a few months ago.
